I found some Energizer Lithium CR123a's on Ebay for cheap. For $AU16 I got 6 of them. I have seen them range in price from $AU10 at supermarkets to $AU4.50 online.

I want to buy more but I am thinking that there must be some catch to them being so cheap. They came in original packaging and all measured 3.23 volts. Am I missing something?

Here is a link to something similar:

I wouldn't trust anything that comes from Hong Kong, there are alot of fake batteries that come from there i.e. eneloops. I'm not saying the batteries are bad, but they are probably not name brand.

Anyway of telling? e.g. packaging?

I tested them and they read 3.23 volts. I havn't had a chance to test to see how long they last yet.

"Similar" doesn't really tell us anything. That particular seller sold fake Panasonic CR123As to someone on CPF.

Links to eBay deals do not belong here, so this thread is closed.

In any case, eBay is the worst possible place to buy cells.
