Choosing a AA light

I had a Fenix L2D Q5 for a while and really liked it but not enough to keep it. I sold it to a friend who was soundly impressed. Now I want something very similar. It's going to be mostly for walking and looking around on our very dark property we just bought in the wilderness so I'd like it to be a smallish thrower.

I've been contemplating the Olight T25 Tactical or the JETBeam JET-I Pro EX V2.0. I want to stick to 2 x AA for runtime, handling and the use of Energizer liths. I also have a D10 which I really love but for me it works better as an inspection or around the yard light. Oh, and I like my L0d Q4 too (I see a trend:D).

Any observations or comments would be great.

Thanks

Hard to make a recommendation without knowing why you disliked the L2D. The T-25 is THE AA thrower. Get the tactical flavor if you want a UI completely different than the L2D.

I didn't really dislike the L2D, I did want my friend to have a nice light. The clicky wasn't all that easy to use, but then I don't have a lot of background with these being a newbe and all (except for Surefire at the Sportsman's Warehouse).

I'm really drawn to the Olight T25, just might have to go for it.

Thanks.

I love the Olight T25. I have the standard version and I like the grip on it a lot better than the Fenix. It is a very solidly made light except for the steel ring that the lanyard connects to. That will break on you the first time you use it at any length. Oh well..., nothing is perfect!! Still one of my favs!!
