Well, after drooling over these lights ever since discovering the CPF website, I finally bought a Polarion from a fellow member in the UK. The light is like new, not a mark on it. The only way it could be better was if it were a PH-50 but the PH-40 is no slouch and I couldn't be happier:thumbsup:I'll try and post some pics in this thread but if it doesn't work right away, bear with me as I've only posted pics one other time and I may need a refresher course.

Can someone help me with info. on posting pics as it doesn't seem to work for me. Could it be because under "posting rules" at the bottom of the page it says I " may not post attachments" for some reason although I have done it here once before? I'm loading them from Photobucket. I have been holding the mouse over the image on Phtobucket, then I click on "direct link", then right click on it and choose "copy", then I go to the message reply box here on CPF and click on the "insert image" icon, then I right click in the box that comes up and I choose "paste" but I'm only getting the red "X" in my reply and not the actual picture.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Parker go into your Photobucket account. Make sure your images are 800x800 or less.

Double click on the image you want to upload.
On the left there should be a box that says share this image.
Click once on the IMG code box. (It should automatically copy it)
While typing your message here right click and paste.
Repeat for additional photos.

The image size on Photobucket is set to "800x600 (15" screen). I'll try again. How can I delete the blank posts above that don't have any pics?
Thanks.

You should be able to go back up and click the edit button near the bottom right of each post and delete the bad coding from your post.

I was like a kid on Christmas Eve while waiting for this to arrive. I would like to thank "Saabluster" for being our middleman for this transaction. I heard about doing it this way and it worked out great for both parties.
The seller sent the light to him after I sent a down payment, then after he received it and verified that all was o.k., he sent it on to me and then I paid the balance due. This gives both the seller and buyer a peace of mind when dealing on an expensive item.
I can't believe how physically heavy this light is, not complaining, just happy that it appears built like a tank.
I'd also like to thank Ken Good from Polarion who sent me a US 110V power conversion plug and a owners manual free of charge since the light came with a UK power plug.:D

Congrats Parker! You got the very best man.

....and the PH50 isn't better, just different. Awesome like

I'm sooooooooo jealous right now.Congratulations on your new light.

I live in Manitoba-not far from where you are-maybe you'll loan it to me someday.
