I am not sure how much stock is but this one throws the numbers stated in post 1. Basically around 500K

Edit: Just looked at some numbers from selfbuilt. I would guesstimate the modded is about 4 times the throw of a stock one.

A stock first version TN31 XM-L U2 was rated right at 115,000 lux at 1 meter. The 2nd version TN31 XM-L2 U2 was right around 130,000 lux at 1 meter give or take. Vinh's TN31 de-domed XM-L2 is right at 500K and I believe mine is even more than that.

The reason why I say that is saablaster tested his Power On Board 35watt HID to be right around 530K. My Vinh TN31 will easily out throw the POB that I have. I got pictures showing that to be true. No doubt about it.

Here I'll show you just how mean of a light the TN31VN is.

Here's the 9lb big 6" diameter reflector Power On Board 35 watt HID at 300yds. Both of these below were manual exposure 1.2 sec shutter, f/4 on the first photo and f/3.2 on the 2nd and ISO 400. But you can see which one throws better.

The tint has spoiled me on these lights you did for me. I had both my TN31VN and K40VN out the other night playing with them and the tint smokes the cool white tint on my other lights that I used to think was the way to go. Not anymore.
