received today.
Very solid & bright.
3x1.5v alkaline included
That would be 4.5v total.
So i decided to run it with AW protected 17500 with paper wrap around the cell,much better ( tho a tad brighter ) and it's rechargeable and fully regulated

Thank you for the update, hoped that it will become your favorite EDC very soon.
Although the V8 is not focusable compare to the Coast Focusing. But I feel that the optic with the upgraded P4 give a usable flood and spot.
If you have time, do take some photos comparing with some of your current EDC you have.

In fact, our postal office here has classified Australia in the same zone as Europe and USA sometime ago. And postal fee has risen significantly because of this. Else, I could have easily include Australia in the same postal fee as other asia countries :mecry:

i love the holster that came with it.

beamshots,the led lenser is always on the right ( 5 feet from the wall ):-
1. vs Inova T1 2008 with 1 x 17670 cell ( it's the warmest tint that i have among all the LED )
2. vs Novatac 120T with AW rcr123
3. vs modded SF L1 Cree with AW rcr123
4. vs LF5XT with 1x Sanyo nimh 2700maH
5. vs Amilite Cuty XRE with AW rcr123

Bump.... although some of the the newer emitters might have taken the lime light out of this seems to be "older" SSC P4 emitters. But this mod is still a favorite in its class.

ahh that v8 was my favorite edc, gorgeous beam, gave it to my son to play spotty at night, never saw it again

Oh, now I got what you meant. At them moment, they are with SSC P4 only.
However, I still have some stock version on hand which might be upgraded into some possible emitters.
