comp help please

just got a bigger hd for my dell, now i am at the phoenix awardBIOS CMOS setup utility, i need to get my cd rom drive open to put in the disk for the os, but there is no button for the drive, usually you go to my comp and right click then click eject..

is there a tiny hole in the front that you can stick a needle in? Most cd drives have them.

Paper clips work best for that.

Better yet set the new drive as a slave and throw it in. Thats what I did when i ran out of space. Now I have 2 hard drives and I didnt have to reinstall anything.

tthats what i thought that hole was, used my e1b to light it up, now do i go with set up f2 or boot menuf12 oh and the os cd did not auto run

if i dont select f2 or f12 it goes to a black screen and some of the things say no boot device availble, press enter to try again, which does not helo i get the same message

pressing retry goes back to thr same thing

hmm, well Im stumped then.

windows is loading files, i powered down and back on the the drive started to read cd, man i really need to learn more

thanks everone,im shutting down this mini and i'll check nack after i recieve 80plus windows updates on the othe comp.

well i couldnt stay up last night downloading 86 updates and installing takes a while, everything seems normal now, had to extract the realtek network connection from the resouce cd as well as download the dell dock for the desktop from the dell sight.
