Re: CPFReviews.com: Orb Wee NS ...a Jewellery Adornment!

Very nice Pictures, that light is really good looking and small!

Any chance of a runtime test?

thanks

Re: CPFReviews.com: Orb Wee NS ...a Jewellery Adornment!

Yes, Sure, I now have a very good light measuring system with me. Will be updating the Database and Update the Runtime chart as well :)

 Massive :thanks:

Re: CPFReviews.com: Orb Wee NS ...a Jewellery Adornment!

very nice. Those are the best closeups I've every seen of the wee. I'm looking forward to the runtime tests.

Re: CPFReviews.com: Orb Wee NS ...a Jewellery Adornment!

Nice light but I can't find it listed on the Lummi web site?

Those zoom pictures are amazing! Great review!!! Can you measure the current consumption? I want to buy the same version as you have (with 30 min runtime)... :) By the way, how do you charge the battery? AW, the supplier of the cells, says "use 10-20mA coin cell charger" but where to get these? A standard charger (R123, nano,...) will put way too much current through the cells when charging, so I wonder where to buy a suited charger.

I believe many people are just using the 123 Nano charger without issue.

Dear Erasmus,

Thanks :) ... I have 50 Lumen Version, if you need more runtime, you can go in for a 25 Lumen version... that should last for 1.5 hours :)

I am using 2 Bay Charger from AW with a spacer. most of the time, i charge with 2 cells in parallel to divide the current. Nano for 1AAA should work fine too.

Will measure the current draw today

On the Y axis in your runtime graph, what unit is used for measuring Total Output?

To get total Estimated Lumens just divide the total output numbers by 10.

Please note Although I get consistent readings, the figures are of estimated lumens and my Extreme Tech Hyper Efficient Very Special Runtime Rig :duh2:(any body wanna see that setup?) has an error factor ranging from 10% +ve or 10% -ve

Re: CPFReviews.com: Orb Wee NS ...a Jewellery Adornment!

Can you measure the current consumption?

I just measured the current on a fully charged battery, it's exactly 200 mA ! dot on Lummi's Specification.

What I like about Orb Wee NS is that it is dot on target on Total Output, Runtime and Current Draw.... There is No Marketing Hype, Specifications are right on target. .. this is some thing very less manufacturers practice.
