I just received 2 cells of ultrafire "quality" batteries from Kaidomain.com

Anyone else done measurements on these?

First cell gives out 2150mah with 1000ma discharge rate(termination voltage 2.7)
Second one... 1350mah. :barf: Now this is what I call repeatability!

Have the cells been cycled a few times? I've heard Li-Ion cells increase a bit in capacity as they're cycled a few times. I was looking into these cells, along with the two brands of protected 18650s offered on QCG.

Weak one seems to lose a little bit of capacity every cycle I throw at it, better one(2150mah) stays the same or gains a little.

Generaly li-on cells designed for high current operation will gain capacity, almost like stretching its leggs.

Anyway, that capacity is so low i would concider it DOA

just use AW protected cells. they are worth a few extra bucks.
Maybe I try AW next. I dont care about protection as I was planning to order more of these to use in laptop battery. I would prefer LG/Panasonic from some reputable dealer but postage to Finland is usually too much.

Any quality problems with _unprotected_ 2200mah AW cells? Measured capacity?
