very interesting to see how a 35W HID drop the output, would be interesting to see this graph about the 10W HID and what change with the overdrive.

and about the incand, i see that you have tested a underdrived bulb (2684°K), would be interesting to see a osram IRC bulb at 18-19V :)

What Vf are you measuring on that HD45 to make it 5W+? I'm assuming you are including the PS losses on the HD45, are you doing the same with the Cree?

No, I am measuring the power at the emitter, *not* the input power. Maybe I'll measure it again tonight, if I get a chance.
