Current gen L1 head on L2 body?

How destructive is this? I have several L1's but I'm not that interested in BBQing a perfectly good light.

I asked this question some time ago. The determination was that it's bad idea as you'll fry the L1 head pretty quickly. I have since come around the flood L2 Lux V head though and almost prefer it these days.
