I am not what you could call an "electrical whiz". But what I am looking for a custom Li-ION battery for my new Power on Board HID light. This light is great in terms of brightness, but its burntime is too low and the weight is too high. I also use this light in cold environments. Li-Ion is more energy dense than anything else, it is lighter. Li-Ion is perfect for me. but I have no idea what i need to do to get this battery in my light. here are the specs enclosed in the light's manual:

6000K 35W Mh
Input Voltage: 12V
Ouput Power: 35W
Input Current: 3.5A
Current batt: 12V 7aH SLA
AC Adapter output: 13.8V 750mA
AC Adapter Input: 120V/60Hz 25W

Please point me in the right direction in terms of who to contactm costm, etc.

It'll end up being a money pit. Buy another HID light that's lighter and smaller instead. Even buying cheap Lithium Ion cells you're looking at about 6 "D" cells to get the equivalent voltage and capacity. That's about $120. Then there's the issue of how to charge them properly and make sure they stay balanced, etc, etc...
