Hi guys,
Here is a recent build by me. This custom P7 build is permanent build where the massive custom heat-sink is attach to the host with Arctic Silver epoxy to maximize the heat transfer from the P7 emitter. That is to ensure the emitter can sink the extra heat away efficiently.
-Seoul P7 CSXPI
-D2DIMM Driver
-Metal MOP reflector
-UCL lens
-Run on a single 18650
-Green glow pedestal
-Custom sleeve to accomodate 18650
-Custom heatsink
-Modified tailcap to suit 18650 lithium ion
-Maglite host cut to approximately 1D size
The D2DIM feature cut off voltage at 2.7V to protect the lithium ion and utilizes PWM for dimming control. Also, this build is very flexible where the user can set the output to suit his like. From the lowest lumens to the maximum.
Here is a video of D2DIM in action:
(1) Powered up in 'Highest' setting
(2) Dimming from High --> Low (configured to lowest mode)
(3) Running at lowest setting
(4) Dimming from Low --> High setting (configured to highest mode)
(5) Lastly, Running at highest setting again.
With regards,
