Not sure if this should be under the custom area, if not it can be moved by admin I suppose.

Anyhow, I just bought a PorterCable 4 piece combo, Drill, Circular saw, reciprocating saw, and flashlight.

Obviously the flashlight is not even in the same building, let alone same level as my Fenix TK40 which I love to death.... but....

The power source comes from an 18V battery, I figured that might pack some juice, but I'm a flashlight noob.

Can I possibly just stick in a different bulb that's much more powerful? or will I have to do more than that to make it decent??

Depends on how much you like the smell of melted plastic. I'll defer to others that may know where you can get more durable components. I was thinking about doing something similar with my 18V Bosch light.

I have a Ryobi 18 volt light similar to the Porter Cable unit you have. I managed to mount a KIU ceramic socket where the bulb holder went and put in an Osram IRC bulb at 65 watts. Huge improvement. simple easy upgrade.
