I received a 18650 from Alan of Dereelight and I went to charge it on my WF139 and it is alittle longer then AW 18650s. It does not fit in the charger. Can I charge it by connecting wires to the charger and connecting them to the correct side?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I have it charging with the wires.

Here are his batteries he sells.

From the photo it looks like there is 18700 written on them. No surprise that they will not fit the charger.

Is there supposed to be any advantage to using his batteries? We need details. :)

Wade,

Alan sent it to me when he sent my replacement DBS. He tested it before sending it to me and said he got 93 minutes of runtime on high. He originally thought my problem DBS was with bad cells that I was using which are AWs.

Wade....I sent you a PM..

Thanks

You are right. I just noticed it on my battery. I have it charging on my WF-139 with wires. Do you see any problem with this?

I saw these batteries on the Dereelight site and was hoping some info about them would pop up.

Does anyone have anymore info about them?

I wonder if a 5mm longer battery is even going to fit in the light! :candle:

I really don't get it, they advertise those 18700's as 2200mAH, so they're that much longer for no extra capacity?

This battery also fits the cl1h, however there are no markings on it telling the current. If you hold your mouth just right it will fit in the Pila. A google of 18700a brings up nothing except Chineese, and translating that shows no current spec either.
