[Dimensions: CL1H - 14.0cm x 3.5cm; WT1 - 15.4cm x 3.6cm]
Both of these lights are top rated, very well made, produce excellent output, and are priced fairly close with current deals going on. They are both rated as waterproof (15' according to Regalight, but Dereelight doesn't say how deep), have HAIII anodizing, rear clicky switch, and an AR coated lens. There are some output and runtime differences between them. I haven't done my own comparisons, so I'm quoting the data from prior reviews:
Lux readings on high setting, using 18650 (from Light Review)
WT1: Throw - 12730; Spill - 129
CL1H: Throw - 7730; Spill - 137
On CR123, the WT1 puts out a respectable 11290 lux!
Run times, using 18650 (from Light Review)
WT1: High - 02:08 to 50%; Low - 26:30 to 50%
CL1H: High - 02:54 to 50%, Low - 06:00 to 50%
On CR123, the WT1 had: High 01:51 to 50%, Low - 16:10 to 50%
The CL1H wins out on high setting duration by 1 hour, but is beaten 4x by the WT1 on low. The 1 hour difference on high is understandable, given that the WT1 puts out 5000 more lux than the CL1H.
With the WT1, you can use 16340, 18650, or CR123 batteries. With the Dereelight you have to make a choice on battery compatibility upfront with your selection of drop-in.
The Dereelight has the distinguished advantage of being highly upgradeable--it completely disassembles for replacement of the LED module. For the owner who does not plan to upgrade, this isn't much of a consideration (except for a future sale on CPF!).
So, overall it looks like the Regalight WT1 might be the favored choice for the buyer who is not interested in making future upgrades to the light, given the overall output and battery compatibility, for the price ($65-$70 for the WT1 during the promotional sale).
