I absolutely love my DBS-T aspheric. It blew me away. Anyone on the fence about getting one, get off the fence and get one!

Another possibility is to use a non-dereelight XR-E EZ900 P60 pill (light engine) that will run at full brightness on a single 18650 (or single RCR123/16340) li-ion battery. I have a 2.1 amp one made by vinhnguyen54 from CPF Marketplace, and some of the other drop-in specialists may also sell them. It works fine in my Dereelight DBS with an aspheric head, but I don't know about the DBS-T with its twisting head operation.

This would work fine on 2xcr123a as well, correct?

i have a DBS T & you can get full power with with 2x123 or 2x16340 because the light is a 6V one 18650 on its own doesn't have enough voltage. So thats where the extensions come in handy, when used you can use 2x18650 therefore you have the 6V easily.all you do is add the voltage of each battery up to see if you have enough power IE: 1x123a = 3V, 1X16340 = 3.7V, 1X18650=3.7V So none of these batteries are powerful enough on there own.I also have an CL1H & thats the same set up.I've just ordered a C2H with an XRE & smooth reflector so I've got a small 1x123 size (EDC) light thats a great little thrower.Anyone sitting on the fence with these lights should jump right in IMHO they're brilliant lights very well built, the performance is very good & I'd put them side by side my expensive high end lights all day long.

Has anybody here tried dual 18350's in the CL1H tube? You get the voltage of double cells, with better runtime than 16340's. I would love to try it, but my 18350's are on delivery, kinda hard ordering these type of cells, not too many people (and lights) support them.

I ordered a few of these for the Dereelight and my Crelant 7G5 V2 (w/o extender). Can't wait! :)

If I have time, I will test the 18350 IMR tonight.

the 18350's trustfire protected works fine in the cl1h xm-l (2mt-m), there is a slight improvement in runtime although i haven't measured this very precisely yet.

I was able to test out my DBS-T XR-E EZ900 Aspherical using a light meter at the GTG over the weekend.

It was easily hitting 117-119k cd
