Dereelight or DX 3W Cree Projection w/ Q5?

I've decided I'm going to get a Fenix T1 with a smooth reflector, but I'm set on getting a throw monster as well. So I'm debating on getting a Dereelight DBS or a DX 3W Cree Prejection with a modded Q5 from Cutter Electronics, which do you all recommend. I'll be saving myself about $80 if I go with the DX light and a Q5 from Cutter, it'll also be the first time I ever attempt to mod a light. I hate this sickness, I was doing so good then I come back to the forums and I start buying lights again.

You might want to wait until after you have your smooth T1 to see if you really need more throw

Dereelight for the simple emitter upgrades available. Modularity is great since you can always buy new LED modules without buying a whole new light again.
