Discontinued/revised Surefire model info

Where can I find information on past Surefire models (e.g. design changes, discontinued models, etc.)? Is there a source available for this? Maybe this needs to be in the collectors section, but I thought I'd start here.

Such a single-point resource does not exist.
The best way is to ask specific questions on specific products having first searched CPF to see whether it has been discussed before.
