DIY Thrower

hey guys im looking for some info on what is the best diy light i can make or have made by a member......looking for a tight beam and a great thrower

The DEFT would be the best thrower for sure but it is no longer made. How much throw do you want? Do you want an Aspheric or reflector?

more of a reflector so its a round beam and not square, may be multiple led's ?

just something with great through and bright any ideas i would like this in a 1D mag

If it can be a 1D sized host but not an actual Mag body then this thread might be of interest.
It's aspheric but you could set the final focus to suit your prefered beam profile if you wanted to.
