Do AW 18??0 battery sizes fit tri-bored Mag hosts?

This should be a given, but after sometime spent measuring and boring and such and finding so many size variations in battery size classes it is a guess for me, I have not a single AW 18's of any length here at this time.

I know it is usually thought that 17 mm or "A" size is the maximum for a tri-bore, but, Please, OH PLEASE, tell me that an AW 18??0 will actually fit.

If not I will use the 17670 at 1600 mAh. I so wanted the 2200 mAh in this light.

Thanks to whoever has had the experience to actually measure this out. I already punched a hole through a host with that darned boring machine of mine so I thought I would save the price of a host at least for a day and ask before I leap this time.

Nope, it won't fit. You can fit only two 18XXX across with boring or three 17XXX across.

Yep, and I really knew that, it was blind hope. I put a hole through a host the other day not even trying to run a thin channel, just slipped is all and if there was any hope that the AW 18 were close to the 17 enough to tri-bore I knew it would be ridiculously close. Thanks Don, I suppose if I want to use the 18650 I should maybe use a longer host. That will work too.
