Not such a good analogy. In your case, an emollient type laxative would decrease resistance. :p

I started ProGolding my toilet seat. Secure contact ensures successful bombing mission.

 LOL. Thanks guys, you made me laugh.
BTW. I am thinking about ordering some of the "magic" deoxit. I am building a 2C (li-ion) WA1111 mag mod.

You can order directly from www.caig.com. They have a neat "Technician's Survival Kit" for $30. Add in a Deoxit Gold pen and maybe a precision oiler pen and you've got a contingency kit for whatever comes up.

sorry, don't have any MAG mods...
but have lotso other hotwires and progold everything/anything electrical - works like a charm.

For what it's worth I recommend using the bottled 100% liquids with a disposable/cleaned model paintbrush to apply. I have the 5 oz sprays and while they're easy to use it's also messy and wasteful for most flashlight and equipment use.

Unfortunately, fenix-store only has the uneconomical little tubes and caig is too expensive for overseas because they only use fedex. The best way for me to get more will be to get some of the double packs from fenix-store.

Nope, for cleaning contacts and such I find that there are better alternatives for us cheapskates. But If I were going to go to a shootout against the likes of Lux Luthor I probably would go for every possible advantage. (and I'd still be "pwned")

What have you tried?
I bought some contact cleaner without lubricant (I forget the name but it's a common one that electronics shops have) but it turned out to be greasy. :duh2:

Anyway, that's contact cleaner - a substitute for Deoxit Red - but there doesn't seem to be any good substitute for Pro Gold, to reduce resistance and prevent oxidation.
