I've been wondering about them for a awhile. They've made the best car batteries for a long time in my opinion, but I've always gone to Sure-Fire for CR123A's, especially when I order from the site and because they are freshly made and plentiful. Does anybody use Interstate's CR123A's and what was your results? There's a guy on Ebay selling them for $21 shipped a box right now, I don't know if they are fresh stock or not.

The seller claims they test better than Sure-Fire's. I love Interstate's batteries, but I would have to see that to believe it.

My own experience with Interstate car batteries: worst batteries I ever had. I had vehicles that needed 4 batteries and also was using anything I could get for a solar setup and in both cases Interstate were the worst. That's my experience only so YMMV. I can't say how that would even relate to their CR123's but it was my impression that Interstate batteries were made cheaply so if that is how they do business then I'd expect the CR123's to be poor. Again that's just a guess based on little except speculation. BTW the only person I see selling them on eBay has them at $21.99 plus $2.00 for shipping so that's almost $2.00 per cell. You can do better than that through some of the dealers here. Batterystation.com had Energizer brand 123's on at 50 of them for $50 recently - not sure if they still have that great price. They also have their own improved brand and offer CPF members a discount so you should be able to buy them for less than these Interstate brand. Not sure but I believe one of our battery guru's did some testing on some Interstate batteries so you might search here on that.

Looks like he raised the price, both auctions were $19.99 + $2 shipping before today.

I'm sorry you've had so much trouble with their batteries, but they are definitely not cheaply made compared to other brands. Diehards used to be a good brand until about 12 years ago. Since then they are terrible! I've had some Interstates last me nearly ten years and their warranty is excellent. I've had bad luck with Optimas, like one year and they go to hell, this happened twice. And a Motorcraft I had was crap also. I have Interstate in both my truck and different cars for many years without trouble.
