Does anyone know how to get the pill out of a MiniMag LED?

My uncles quit working and i was going to pull it apart and see what is loose. It will come on sometimes, but acts like there is a loose component. I couldn't seem to get the pill out to check anything though. I also searched the forums to see where one had been taken apart and couldn't find anything.
