People always asks me what the lumens is on the PD-S and the S27-PD .
Does anyone know?

From the McLux III TI FAQ Thread, quoting Dr. Kiessling.....

"Currently SSC P4 U-bin LEDs will be used. Don measured 94 lumens luminous flux with a such an U-bin equipped S27 head in his IS at 525mA. This might not be an 100% exact number, but it gives us an idea about the flux to expect."

Those calc'd lumen values are actually a bit low. I had used several Surefire incand lights, along with the CPF benchmark lights, when I'd determined my conversion factor for those tests. I recently got the CPF benchmark lights for a second round of measuring, so I'm now using just those lights to determine my conversion factor. Since we have lab-determined lumen ratings for those lights, my new conversion factor should be more accurate.

I need to update my shoot-out charts with correct values. In the meantime, my Ti-PD-S-Mizer comes in at 53 Calc'd lumens, while my Ti-PD-S is 90.

Inclusion of the Surefires, based on their lumen ratings, was obviously skewing my results to be on the conservative side.
