While I'm not answering your question exactly, I do know that my "local" Sams Club still has a lot of the Vector HID spotlights in stock. I paid ~$96 for mine almost a year ago. I was in the store about a week ago, and they are now down to ~$85. If you don't have a Sams Club membership, a friend may be able to get one for you. Also, Harbor Freight had some a while back, you might want to check their site.

PS... It appears that my "local" Sams has only sold about 8 of these lights if it is still the same pallet I bought from last year. It looks dusty enough to be on the floor that long!

That would be very bad for the SLA-batteries inside them !! They need to be fully charged all time..

I use the same search code number #180496 for high performance lights in Costco Canada but there was no result.

Does costco Canada even sell it? Do I have to go to the store in person to find it?

In the many times I've been I've NEVER seem one high Power HID like the one that was on sale in the States about 1.5 years back.

The only thing they have is like a hand held halogen that's got a trigger on the handle.

I got one of those Costco HIDs for $100 shipped from the US and boy oh boy it's fun turning it on. Try to get one if you can.

Costco did sell a Large HID a while back. I was a one time purchase and they sold them at their cost. Harbor Freight sells the same light these days.
