Downboy question

I need a board that can power a 1W led from 2 CR123 (6v), and the downboy seems to be just what I need. But, I also need access to a shutdown pin on the chip to control the converter. Since I don't know what chip the downboy uses, can anyone tell me if there is a shutdown pin that I can access? I imagine that if there is one, I would have to desolder it and connect my wire - sounds doable, but a bit of a pain...

Alternately, are there any other boards that might work better for me?
