I liked the black and Ti combination on the aluminum PD's but I think that I like this even better. I used matte black Duracoat on the bezel and the pocket clip.

Looks great. Now for a kenster style polishing you'll be all set.

Have you seen the look in Kenster's eye? He did not look that way before the polishing began but after countless hours of endless rubbing and inspections, things can change for a guy:laughing:

If I were to polish the PD, then I would start to see the imperfections in the Duracoat and then I would have to rework that.

I do think that a blacked out ti bezel and clip would be nice options... I like the Duracoat alot, but a durable anodized finish would be sharp. Maybe like the Gatlight Tuxedo version.

That all black PD looks evil :naughty:

it is evil. i can tell because its arrival coincided with a huge drop in my bank account.

i should clarify- the all black one i posted above isn't duracoat, it's the AlTiN coating offered by mcgizmo in the latest wave.

i know, i still can't believe i got one.

How's the piston with the AlTiN one?
Nice evil PD

I've never had a regular Ti PD, but the piston feels about the same as the one on the Al PDs i've had. The head twisty action is pretty smooth as well, no problem turning it one handed. The twisty does feel a little grittier, but I hear that smoothes out in time.
