I upgraded the El XM3 from a 1 watt to a Seoul ssc p4,I used AA epoxy,It went from 25 lumens to 80+.Quite an impressive difference,I believe the stock driver is 400ma, running 2 duracell NIMH.Very worthwile upgrade
