Eneloop sizes C and D

Does anyone have experience with these yet. It's pretty new so not sure if it's hit the market. Can't find in my area.

Wow this is a new one. Honestly I thought C and D cells were dying out or fading away, plus I would of thought that making C and D Eneloop cells were out of the question because when you come to think of it most torches today even the slightly larger ones run on either CR123A, RCR123A, AA, AAA, Lithium Rechargeables etc. I recall some of the old incans. like the dolphins, everready etc did run on either C or D cell batts.

Oh well perhaps I'm wrong

just bought some eneloops at costco today with the C and D sleeves. my first eneloops

What's the mah rating of them to be? I seem to recall being underwhelmed in the extreme. Isn't the typical LSD AA about 2k mah? Aren't the new "C"'s about 3k? With over 300% increase in volume I'd expected a lot more.

But part of that fixed volume is taken up by the materials that make the cells LSD, something has to give, and it's capacity.
