I've searched and searched and probably missed it, but I can't find any comparison tests between overall output and discharge rate comparisons for these three main LSD batteries (I did notice the Hybrids were 2100mAh, but then I usually read that eneloops put out 2100mAh as well).

Is there consensus about which is superior--I'll be using the AA in a flashlight gettin occasional use--or link me to the comparison?

I think it depends on how hardcore you want to be about getting the best of the best.

All of the new LSD cells seem to live up to their basic claims of much lower self discharge than traditional cells.

Regarding which ones are truly the best, many people favour Eneloops. They have many signs of high quality, such as low internal resistance (can deliver higher currents without so much voltage droop), higher output voltage on discharge, and cool charging. The capacity at about 1900 mAh is not at the top end, but other plus points compensate for that.

I have a bunch of Eneloops and they do everything I want of them.

Edit: There is a thread somewhere with graphs of discharge tests for different LSD and other cells. I can't quite point you to it without searching, but I'm sure someone else will have the link.

Eneloop & Enduro LSD Duration Testing

Basically as Mr Happy says almost all the LSD batteries have had favorable reports.

Eneloops are the most well known, and possibly because of that, have the best reputation.

The Kodak Pre-Charged are one of the best valued at $7.88/4 at local WalMarts.

Currently on Sale - 8x eneloop AA packs are $14.96 @ Circuit City - which works out even cheaper.

(Although the eneloops in the original Costco pack were really well priced)

Some people say eneloops and Uniross Hybrio seem to hold higher voltages - which may be helpful for equipment that are voltage sensitive.

Kodak Pre-Charged has been reported to run longer in flashlights.

see the following on both these aspects -
