How are they, are they worth the money?
 
Not unless you need them immediately.

You can get them for under $2.50 each on the web. Surefire's brand are $1.75 each (not including shipping) and are considered some of the best.
I would recommend you buy enough of them to make the shipping charges worth it.

You shouldn't pay more than ~$2 each for 123 cells. That being said, you should also not pay for very cheap (and dangerous) cells - stick to Energizer, Duracell, Panasonic/Surefire.

Several different places sell a one dozen box of Surefire cells for $20, and your local Best Buy might have Duracell 2-packs for $3.
