Usually when i order something the truck usually gets to my front door by 11:30....now it's 12:03 and it's no where to be seen.

Wow, how about getting some realistic expectations. I work for a slightly larger shipping cmpany than FedEx (think brown), and sometimes there is some variance in delivery schedules. Maybe some customers on the route before you had some big deliveries. Maybe the truck broke down, a lot of things could have happened. If you want guaranteed delivery by a certain time (like before 10am), I'm sure FedEx would love to arrange that for you......for a muich bigger fee of course. I have no idea how many packages FedEx delivers every day, we deliver 13 million. Stuff happens.

Yeah stuff happens, I was "let down" by FedEx a few years ago when I was sitting waiting for a car part to be delivered by FedEx on a Friday afternoon. I had somewhere I needed to be, so I waited until 4-5pm (several hours after they usually delivered) and finally left. At a corner a mile and a half down the road from my house, I saw the FedEx truck sitting beside the road with its driveshaft broken, and hanging down to the ground. I felt bad for the guy and just left him alone. My package arrived on Monday.

Unlike UPS drivers, most FedEx drivers are independant contractors who own their own truck and route, and don't have the same level of accountability that our drivers do (although as with any company with several hundred thousand employees, we have our share of bad eggs too). I hope you get your package soon.

There is a thread in the Jeers forum of the MarketPlace, particularly for expressing these disappointments in carriers. Please feel free to make use of it.
