sorry for not being in touch for so long, but I had a really busy time at work. Current status: Machining of the base plates will be completed in a few days. If nothing goes wrong the lamp holder kits will be ready for shipping by the end of next week.

Here is a Picture of all the components together:

Each kit contains 1.) the base plate, 2.) two short (20mm) threaded bolts, 3.) two long (25mm) threaded bolts, 4.) a GY6.35 ceramic halogen socket, 5.) four long screws for mounting socket, bolts & base plate, and 6.) three short screws for snap ring attachment.

Assembly should be straightforward. Otherwise see this thread.

Because air mail shipping rates increase with weight shipping five units would cost $16,-. Therefore I suggest to use ground mail instead which is only $9,-. Run time is not much different, somewhere between eight to ten days as compared to 5 to 6 days for air mail.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that some people would want more than two. Therefore, I didn't post the other rates.

Paypal just sent in response to your PM. Sorry I didn't notice developments in this thread. Is there a reasonable way to install the holder in a Mag without having to add electronics?

Yes, the holder and electronics are completely independent from each other. No problem to use the holder alone.

To get some non-CC funds I'm going to have to sell something on BST. That's no problem for me, since I have too many lights around here anyway, but it may take a day or two to get the Paypal funds. I hope that's ok with you. I refuse to give Paypal my bank account number so the only way I can get non-CC funds is by selling stuff.

Note: if it's just a matter of CC payments having an extra 3% fee, I can add that amount to my payment, if that helps.
