A very short review of the Fenix E20 (it's not usual that we can have a light in Europe before the US, thanks to the Photonshop in UK).
The package :

The light is very well finished. It's design is, for me, very pleasant. The curves are smooth and nice. The curling is not agressive but usefull. The switch is firm, pleasant.

I like the one stage option : it can be the perfect gift for non-Flashaholic !
The output is great, between the E1B (80 lm) and the E2DL (120 lm). I have to wait for the night to test it at length. Focused, the spot is smaller than the E1B's one with more spill. Unfocused, it's not a lot greater than a minimag. The pictures given by Fenix are accurate.
A comparison w/ the Olight T25 : the E20 is shorter, seems lighter.

The current at the tailcap with eneloops is equal to 720 mA.
In conclusion, it' a great replacement for those who like minimag :twothumbs
Regards

The photo at the top of post #1 is too large. Please resize it. The maximum is 800 x 800 pixels.

thanks for the review!

BUT I WANT BEAM SHOTS AND RUNTIMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and is it as bright as the p3d Q5 on high? !LOLLL thats what im expecting.........

EDIT: im crossing my fingers.....

Thanks for your review! Been waiting eagerly for this light to come out. Can't wait for beamshots.

For the size : the E20 is close to a minimag :
Top minimag / middle E20 / bottom minimag LED 2AA

Some beamshoots (please, be indulgent), all focused.
Left E1B / Right E20

The two oring just below the head, are the supplied by Fenix or are they something your have added?

I am waiting for my E20, it was mailed a week ago, but the postman is a bit slow around here.:(

actually that i've " studied" the icons, i dont really like any of them, a rainy cloud to show waterproofness? that seems to show weather proof, and the long run time? lol? lol does any one concider the E20's runtimes to be long? i donnno.

cbubu, I have an important question:

Does the reflector size is bigger than the L2D ? Or the "bigger head" is just the thick metal around the reflector ?

I mean... If we want more throw, I guess it´s reflector should be bigger/deeper than the LxD series, right ?

And what is the tint color ? In your pics it looks like too "yellow" for me... :mecry:

Merci!

Is the rear switch a forward clickie or a twist on off with a momentary on?

In my experience fenix throw numbers are overestimated. Like when T1 came out it was advertised as throw over 200 meters, that's over 650 ft. After I compared it with streamlight super tac there's no way fenix can do that. Even at 100ft SL is a whole lot brighter, and it can barely reach 650ft.
