Ok, I'm still interested in this light!!
It looks very cool. 1 level with 3 hrs runtime is great!

I'll take either stainless or alumiunum!!!

Looks like there are some for sale here.

The stainless steel version is pretty heavy with batteries loaded in, not good for EDC /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I hope the alu version will come out very soon /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm interested in one of these, but i dont know which to believe. there are some pictures of it vs a .5 watt, where they are about equal. Does anyone else have a beamshot of this light vs a standard luxeon? or can someone with the light make one?

Fenix L1+ (stainless) will not be producted any more.
Fenix L1 (standard and premium, hard anodized aircraft aluminum) will come out in the first fifteen days of August. The price will be calculated in a few days.

pheonix, will there only be one color of Hard anodizing? It would be nice to have two, like HA Nat. and HA Black. sweeeeeet, this light seems to keep getting better and better.

Natural HA would be cool!! I do have to say the SS looked really cool though, but not practical enough (weight, thermals issues).

2 Mods I'm thinking of trying: A luxIII with a Vf of H should get at least 250ma from 1AA with boost circuit. (assuming the AA can handle it, may need to use NiMH).
Or DD a luxIII with a 3.7 lion.

When I first saw the name "Fenix" I didn't get that it was derived from "Phoenix" and thought it sounded like a pharmaceutical. Come to think of it , what great name for an anti-depressent! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
