Everytime I change out the batteries, the switch internal undoes and has to be retighted. I've got it as tight as i dare when pliers. I don't over tighten the cap when replacing batteries. What do you guys recommend?

Loctite?

Thanks

You can also replace the batteries by removing the head instead of the tail. Just make ABSOLUTELY SURE that you put the cells in the correct direction.

Marduke is very correct about making ABSOLUTELY SURE you put the batteries in the correct way. That's how I blew out my L2D Q5. The reason it happened was because of the same problem, the internal section of the tailcap would unwind, so I started replacing the batteries from the top instead. Then one day I wasn't thinking, and unscrewed the tailcap instead, and put them in backwards. Tragedy ensued.

By the way, does anyone know if the new LD20 Q5 will have reverse polarity protection? I might just replace my broken L2D Q5 with one if it does, especially if Fenix would only come out with a pocket clip for it!
