I'm looking for a light to primarily be used on my mountain bike. I'm looking for a fairly floody beam....so I'm not sure if the Deree CL1H is floody enough. But the P3D won't take an 18650.......but I'll use rechargable 123s if I have to in order to get the best beam.

Any suggestions? I'd prefer something in a single 18650 size....perhaps a drop-in in a Surefire?

Deree with an OP reflector. For Sure.
Surefires can't take 18650s, much to the annoyance of CPF I might add. I'll leave that issue alone now. :p
The Deree has flat, flat regulation on 18650s on the 3-stage Q5 module and are built better than Fenix imo.

Give the Dereelight a try. 18650's are great, and the Dereelights are easy to upgrade if a better light engine (pill, module) becomes available.

Anybody know the size of the lense on a Deree CL1IH? I'd like to get a diffused lense for it if possible.

do not use the 3 or 5 mode on the dereelight. the battery will rattle around and change modes while you're riding. get the 2 stage twist module! but yeah, go for it.

The CL1H V3 has a larger spring to reduce battery movement. I haven't had any problems with my CL1H's changing modes with the 3-stage and 5-stage module using a protected 18650 battery.
