Fenix T1 and RCR123A Rechargeables?

Can someone please confirm if the FENIX T1 can use Rechargeable RCR123As?

I emailed fenix-store but got no response.

Yes it is safe to use 2xR123s. I got my info directly from Fenix. The Fenix-Store has confirmed this as well.
