I just received my EagleTac P20C2 MKII and I am pretty impressed. I need 1 more light of similiar output... But I want to try something different.

Between the Fenix TK11 XP-G R5 and EagleTac T20C2 MKII, which is brighter?

I thought I wanted something very throwy, but I'm discovering that I like the flood capcity of the new P20C2 MK II I just got. It throws far, but loses the hotspot in a far throw (at far distances, it just lights up the area generally the same, I have found - instead of 1 hotspot).

I'm satisfied with the Eagletac I just got. And, while its just a tiny bit bigger, the T20C2 Mark II doesn't seem that much different on paper. But, not sure which to go with...

Also, I do not believe the Eagletac has any warnings about long use of Turbo. Does the TK11 model have that issue, or can it handle it fine (I know some lights tell you not to use Turbo too long).

i know many has said this before and i'll probably be the 1000000 user to say it too. eagletac are great and powerful flashlights but fenix will probably last longer if you drop both 100 times. i barely use my t20c2 because it has poor regulation compare to my tk11 r2 and either one out throws each other. have fun with your new eagletac. i'll be placing my order on that r5 tomorrow when business opens.

Thanks. I will likely want to replace my T2-Mp with another comparable light eventually. I may give the fenix a chance then.

But, I don't think I've seen many threads, if any, of Eagletacs going belly up yet... But, one thing I'll give the Inovas - they are tough. My 3 year old son just took a spill at the mall a little while ago (he wasn't watching where he was going). He had my Inova XO3 in his hand, and it came down hard on a ceramic tile. Didn't do anything to it.

The only other light to interest me is a Jetbeam - but after reading what one has to go thru to get them fixed down the line, I am not sure I want to deal with that.

You have a lot of floody lights now. If you want a jetbeam of similar size and want a trower, get a Jetbeam RRT-1. It is about the same size as the T20C2 MKII with a bigger head and throws like crazy (not floody at all).

I had looked at the RRT-2 before, and it interested me a lot. The RRT-1 does look pretty cool. I guess the lower lumen rating vs the size had turned me off when I first looked at it. But I've learned a lot from this site over the past couple of weeks. So, I know that this doesn't matter as much on a thrower.

I see Amazon sells the TK40 for almost the same price - which tempts me as well. We'll see :p

The RRT-2 is more the size I like - but for $110, I'm not sure if it is a whole lot different than what I have - especially for $20-$30 or more than similar size lights.

Don't bother with the RRT-2 since you have a T20C2 MKII. I have both and they are nearly the same light. RRT-2 has very very slight more throw at the expense of spill but they are 95% the same. RRT-1 is in a different class (so is the TK40 you are looking at).

i think jetbeam flashlights are too expensive and not even much difference anyways..
