Oh yeah, and the "breakup self-gifting step" of the healing process works much better if you buy something that she absolutely despised. The more she hated the item, the better it will be as a "breakup self-gift!"

Shoot, I *seriously* considered buying myself a 2006 or 2007 Subaru WRX STi when my last girlfriend called it quits. She could not stand those cars when I test drove a couple used ones when we were still together, but I loved them. Unfortunately, I got laid off so such a purchase was out of the question but one day I'll own one.

My stereo system and my watch were things that past girls in my life *really* hated. Thus, I bought them and they both were very good purchases that are still working well long after those two girls split! :)

It sounds like your past girlfriends hated everything you liked :D

Maybe need to be more careful screening potential girlfriends from now on!

Hey I'm awkward with girls and rarely have any girlfriends, so that makes it that much easier to acquire lights! I have a natural talent for avoiding females... They do most of the avoiding for me!

Lighthound indeed. I was very surprised to see it there. And to think the only reason I was looking on lighthound was to pick up an XP-G drop in for another light!

Sexy indeed! :naughty: I agree, the color is nice. There arent really any review threads that I could find on this torch, just the discontinued pre-order threads. I will definitely put it through some paces and try to write a decent review on it.

As you both love it, I'll get an orange one as well, I just got an answer that the black & orange were special runs for them. They don't know whether they'll get another special run or not...

Same here, I've got the magical superpower of invisibility, it's just that it only works on 50% of the population.:sigh:

Anyway, if it would change that situation I'd sell all my flashlight stuff down to the last tailcap and battery, but whatever floats one's boat I guess.

Seriously, at this point in my life, if my two options were:
1. Be single but have my lights.
2. Be involved but not have my lights.

I would 100% for sure choose option 1. Maybe later on in life if you asked me again, things may change. But serious as a heart attack, option 1 is where I am now.

And I am happy. :twothumbs

EDIT: oh, and I have to have my dog with me.
