Not an easy question...
I am going to visit some family in Europe.
I would like to buy 4 Flashlights for my relatives - my budget is very thin because of the flight cost and expenses (was thinking around $50 for all four),
They are nature lovers so maximum lumens is top priority.
I prefer common household battery type like rechargeable AAA so i wont have to supply battery as well.

Thank you very much for your help!

This is almost a no-brainer. Go out and buy four of these lights:
Olight i3S EOS 80 Lumen XP-G2 AAA LED Flashlight

These lights use a single AAA battery, and have three modes. I think these lights can also cope with a 10440 battery, but not 100% sure on that. I give away a lot of the older version of this light (iTP EOS A3 - now discontinued).

These type of lights make the perfect gift for everyone. They cost about $25 each, so a little over your budget. But as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for................ :)

The L3 Illumination L10 would also be a good choice if you want to go AA. They have a Nichia 219 version that has great color rendition (which would be good for outdoors). They make about 120 lumens max.
