I have a Brinkmann AA Tuff Max 'inspection' light (809-5020-0). It doesn't have a rubberized grip, exactly, but a big rubber cap at each end.
I know -- I saw the review thread, but I can't help it: I like it (at $14, Walmart -- for more I wouldn't like it as much). It puts out a decent 45 lumens, and after I trimmed out the hole in the front rubber cap it ut out a little more, and also there was less of the shadow in the middle of the beam -- but mostly I like it because it's lightweight, and with the rubber on the end it's very easy to hold, which I usually do with my hand around the tail rubber thingy. The middle is plastic, but with grip-indentations. My major complaint is that despite being radially assymetric it's still a bit slow to spin around in my hand to find the switch, but otherwise it's very 'handy'.
I have another: Brinkmann 8091020-1 2d 4-LED Rebel (twist the head to use 4 LEDs or just 2) that has a rubber grip which works quite well. (No longer available at Walmart, but is elsewhere.) Not a bad light for an older one.
