(yeah I know that's a lot of threads), what I'm trying to determine is whether there exists a li-ion charger that shuts off at 4.0v and doesn't max out li-ion's at 4.2v in order to prevent instaflash using WA1185 w/ 3x17670 pack. The charger would ideally have separate bays for each cell, not for charging while still in adapter.
I am aware of mcocod's prototype 2x18650 holder:

for guiltfree lumens with WA1111 and am looking forward to that release for sure.
As far as the 3x17670 instaflashing phenomenon goes, since there is no soft-start for the M6 yet and having to wait up to 2 days until fresh cells are ready for use is a pain, is there a way to charge the li-ion's to 4.0v and that's it???? I couldn't find a thread dealing with this topic specifically, if there is one I'd like to read more if you could direct me there please. Also from this thread:

post #8's remaining capacity % doesn't bother me. I'd rather sacrifice capacity and have instant access to usability, than have full capacity and either take a chance of instaflashing or have to wait 2days-1week before operating. Or is discharging the way to go. Any threads on proven ways to discharge uniformly without having to bust out the DVM each time? Any ideas CPFer's??? Thanks for looking.
