Mac, I was just going to ask you if it would be possible to make one of your 'C' li-ion Shorty's into an aspherical like this - how come these 52mm lenses are no longer avail.? Are the 50mm ones avail?

Check some of the threads regarding availability of these and similar lenses. Do a google--they are not unique, or at least I don't believe so--they are just not at bargain basement prices---$25-30 vs $5-10.
