Hi,
For sale or trade, the Milkyspitted P7 L5 mod with custom firmware, as reviewed here:
http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=216125
This light is very bright, and handy with its wide and punchy beam. A real 'room-clearer'. On a camping trip I lit up a dark road for a group of 40 people easily, from 150 feet away. And it was dim enough on the lowest mode, to use in the cabin without disturbing any of the sleepers =)
There are a couple surface marks - I believe they're visible in the pictures in the review thread. One is a 3mm thin mark on the base of the collar, which happened during the modding, and another very slim but longer mark near it on the collar. The collar itself is slightly out of round, but not a bit deal as you cannot really tell when the head is on the light. Basically these are barely noticeable but just being upfront =)
This light runs great off a 17670; to run on primaries, you need to use a dummy cell, and one primary, and it will run but at lower output. The light uses the Acorn to change the brightness levels, and runs DD for its power.
For sale for $525 $500 $490 $480 $440 $420 $410 $400 $390 (this mod ran higher due to the custom f/w, the cut-down McR-38, and the fact that there's a custom heatsink, there was also machining of the head involved, and finally, that it was Milky's first P7 in an L5, so it took him more time+effort to get things done well, to 'Milky perfection.') Thanks!
SOLD and SHIPPED! Thanks everyone!
