G2-G2Z Cell Extender

Candle Power Forums

Help Support Candle Power:

The AN14 is a nitrolon extender for G2 but it's one and a half cell long, so you need a spacer to make it work.

This is what they look like:

Dspeck made the spacer for me.

You can also make your own by cutting down
one of the SureFire 123 dummy batteries.

LPS has the extentions and ships free! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I really don't know, the other one I have
is plain and without markings.

SureFire is always making changes . . . /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Looks like the Z32 shock isolated bezel with a Lexan Lens.

Thanks for the info, the reason I ask is the one I have is old (old style style Surefire logo on the bag too) and has no markings at all. Back on topic now, would a P90 damage the stock nitrolon bezel/lens setup if ran for more than a few minutes at a time?

-Mike

It probably wouldn't deform/melt it if you only run it for a few minutes but it would if you run it for long enough. You can get a B270 lens from flashlightlens.com for only $2 and replace the stock lexan lens, it lets more light through and won't deform.

The dummy cell that surefire sells has to be shortened before it will work with the AN14. I took a dremmel tool with a cutoff wheel and shortened mine. Now starting with a G2, I can get 60lu/hr..120lu/20min...105lu/hr..and 200lu/20min. All out of the same light, just screw on the parts I need. My g2/3 now has a clickie lock out switch also.

Speaking of the G2Z. I tried the A19 on mine with the P90 LA and it did not work? Any reason why?

Maybe you've got the new version that does not make proper contact with the body.
