Garrity 3 d can it be modified?

Just for fun can a Garrity 3 d flashlight be upgraded to led? Can the maglite upgrades be used? thanks

The Maglite LuxIII upgrades are a little fatter than a regular PR bulb base, but if you'll never go back to a regular 4.5V filament (and why would you) then you can stretch/bore out the bulb socket to fit the Mag drop in. I picked up two Mag LED bulbs when they were ~$5 each at Home Depot a while back and put them in two plastic Garrity flashlights that I had kept because the batteries were still good and I liked the momentary feature on the switches. Now those lights live in my two of my bathrooms in case the lights go out while someone is on the can, but you didn't need to know that, did you?
