gearlite xr-01, any experiences?

hey all, first time poster, long time flashaholic. the gearlight has some cool stats, cree/double clickie/130-70 lumen two stage/decent battery life.

i'm looking for a $50 range smallish cree with a 2 stage. should i try it out or wait a while? i searched the forum, couldn't find a review...

The EastwardYJ 18650 U2 style Cree has a two stage clickie and with the batteries and charger costs about $37.50 shipped.

Don't know about the Gearlite though

Hi,

I have the Gearlite XR-01 and am quite happy with it. The runtime is decent (haven't replaced the CR123s yet), 2-stage reverse clickie, nice output, well made. What more can I say?
