Glo-toob experience?

Is it possible to change Glo-Toob LED color? Any special tools needed?

I don't think it's possible. The leds are buried solid under a considerable amount of what looks like clear epoxy.

Correct - they are embedded in the clear epoxy. The only way to change the color is to buy one that's a different color. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The Glo-Toob does not take N cells. It takes one 21/23A cell. They're 12 volts.

That's creepy! I thought I'd grow out of flashlights in a few years but it's just not happening. At this rate I will be reading my own comments in the retirement village.
