Good deal on batteries at Target?

I found several packs of Eveready Super Heavy Duty batteries at Target today in their $1 section. The AA, C & D batteries were 4 in a pack and the 9V were 2 to a pack, each pack was $1. So does anyone think this is a good deal?

Not sure if this is the best deal. We've got a store called Dollar General where you can get four no-name alkalines for $1.50. That would probably give you more juice than the carbon-zinc batts.

they had that price for awhile. i bet they dont last as long as normal batteries but i guess they can serve a purpose. something like remotes or batteries for gift items.
